The Head of the Strategic Business Unit for confectionery visited three of Nestlé’s nurseries in Côte d’Ivoire and two of Nestlé’s partner cooperatives. He remarked "It’s fantastic to see the local Nestlé team and the coops working together to build these nurseries. The cocoa plants will soon be ready to go the fields and you can feel the enthusiasm for them. The training we’ve done this year is paying dividends – the coop is producing better cocoa and the farmers are benefiting from premium prices – wins all round!".
